About me

After finishing my two-year postdoc at the UCSD vision group, where I conducted research in unconstrained face and object recognition, I started at Google as a Software Engineer in 2011. There I do state-of-the-art computer vision research that is used in Personal Photo search and Mobile Vision.

I completed my PhD in Semantic Image Segmentation and Web-Supervised Visual Learning at the University of Oxford in the Visual Geometry Group in 2009.

In my spare time I enjoy the California sun and the ocean.
